Modifications:
1.) Added level 2 with more enemies
2.) Added level 3 with even more enemies and music
3.) Added a secret level 4 that I don't think is beatable but good luck! (good luck finding it)

Your proposed modifications sound good, just be sure that your level 2 and 3 play out differently from each other and your level 1, they should not be basically the same with just a couple enemies added. Also be sure to tell us in the final submission description how to get to your secret level or you will not get points for it.
